SkyWatch Friday #19

I took this picture about a week ago. I was taken aback as the sky looked like someone had just painted a watercolor outside my window. This is one of the most beautiful sunsets that I have seen in New Mexico.

I'm astonished so you must have been even more so. Very painterly, indeed. As I've noted many times, digital cameras love the sky in all it's amazing colors.

I'm thinking this was last Friday night. (November 14.) I tooks some incredible shots that night, too. Some looked just like that. (Others are my SWF post this week.)

Beautiful. You have to love NM skies!

The many layers are just amazing. I would have stood there for a long while. This reminds me of sunsets I've seen in the eastern part of our state. Thanks for sharing.
